Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA)
A regional award for outstanding entrepreneurship, the APEA is built on the idea that for entrepreneurs to continue innovating and sustaining their leadership, there must be three elements in place:
Benchmarking against best practices
Recognition of past and current efforts
Continued publicity and public attention
The APEA provides a real platform for companies and governments to recognise and be recognised for entrepreneurial excellence, hence spurring greater innovation, fair practices and growth in entrepreneurship. As a regional award, the APEA will be able to group together leading entrepreneurs across the region, as a powerful voice for entrepreneurs with the crème-de-la-crème networking opportunity.
Over 1200 top business leaders and entrepreneurs have been awarded the prestigious Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards since 2007 in Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, Hong Kong, India and China.
The APEA programme continues to expand to other Asian countries in 2011 in our continuous effort to recognize and honour individuals who have shown great entrepreneurship spirit in leading, growing and contributing to their organizations, communities and countries.
Year 2012 will see the expansion of APEA into Bangladesh, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Japan, and Middle East to build a network of over 2000 award winning business leaders and entrepreneurs from across Asia.
