Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards

Over 200 top business leaders and entrepreneurs have been awarded the prestigious Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award in 2007 and 2008 in Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.

The APEA programme continues to expand to other Asian countries in 2009 in our continuous effort to recognize and honour individuals who have shown great entrepreneurship spirit in leading, growing and contributing to their organizations, communities and countries. In 2009, we have now established APEA in Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand and China.

Year 2010 will see the expansion of APEA into Australia, India, Philippines, Korea & Japan to build a network of over 1000 award winning business leaders and entrepreneurs from across Asia.

Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Forum

The inaugural Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Forum  will be held in Qingdao, China from 28- 30th October 2009.

The APEF will be an annual gathering of all Asian business leaders, government leaders, and entrepreneurs to the set and steer the entrepreneurship direction for Asia as well as to re-energize and revitalize the Asian economy through multilateral dialogues and positive action.

Youth Entrepreneurship Summit

In 2008, Enterprise Asia has started off a pilot project on youth entrepreneurship with a selected group of students from University in Beijing, China together with AIESEC in China.

With the success of this pilot project, we continue on our efforts to engage with more youths from universities, high school, rural areas and to expand our Youth Entrepreneurship Programme in other locations in China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand through 2009 – 2010.
